The Outreach Committee of the Bruins Public Health Club is dedicated to addressing public health challenges through awareness campaigns that prioritize disseminating well-researched and reliable information. The committee empowers its members to select and explore public health issues they are passionate about, fostering collaboration across BPH committees and partnerships with different UCLA organizations. By organizing informational booths at collaborative events, creating engaging infographics for social media, and hosting a Public Health Fair, BPH Outreach actively champions change and strives to educate and inspire the UCLA community.

CURRENT PROJECTS
Every year, Bruins Public Health hosts a public health fair that is open to all UCLA students. The fair features booths from various public health-related clubs across UCLA, presentations from Bruins Public Health committees, food, networking, and more!
Keep an eye out on our Instagram (@bruinspublichealth) for more information on our next public health fair.
Catch Bruins Public Health on uclaradio.com on Saturdays from 2-3 pm throughout the quarter! Join DJ Outreach and DJ Pulse Beat as they analyze public health topics, global health challenges, and a wide range of initiatives to address and solve these problems. Whether discussing a public health related case study or focusing on BPH’s current projects, these two will dive into the importance of public health and how students can make a difference in this field.
At the Vituity Cares Pop-up Clinic, BPH members collaborate closely with clinicians, registered nurses, medical students, and various student organizations to deliver essential services, including basic clinical care, medication prescriptions, haircuts, and the distribution of food and clothing. By supporting residents of Skid Row, BPH members play a critical role in identifying individuals in need, engaging patients in conversations about their medical history and current symptoms, and conducting vital sign assessments.
